Our goal is to help women attain a victorious life through the study of the word of God, fervent prayer, and loving friendship. Growing in Christ-likeness, we prepare women to become mighty warriors for the Kingdom of God.
SCRIPTURE OF THE WEEK
“You are the salt of the earth;but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.Nor do theylight a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works andglorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16
True peace only comes from within ourselves, from the inner source of our being, the spirit part of us that God breathed into us coming into oneness with our Creator. When we feel we've been wronged or tainted, that connection may be broken and angry inside. Our focus is on the issue of what happened to us instead of thinking about what we can learn from the situation. How can we make new adjustments or change based on the new information we have gleaned from our experiences?
Peace comes from reconciliation: with ourselves and with others. Fixing broken relationships or mending parts of ourself that have "broken off" will lead to the "peace that passes all understanding." The true peace that Jesus came to give us. Today, take a moment to step back and consider what you can learn from your circumstances. How can you grow? What needs to go and what needs to remain? See yourself as the victor. Rise above the situation and see the fruit of love working within you. God made you wonderful, He made you powerful, He made you in His image. You are love and you are LOVED by a holy, perfect Father. Let the fire of God purify and cleanse you, and make you whole! Fill us up, Abba Daddy.
